Briefly speaking, a COB LED display screen is one where LED chips are directly mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB) and then encapsulated. In this way, the chips and the PCB are tightly connected.
Different from traditional SMD display screens, it doesn't require the chips to be first encapsulated into individual small components and then mounted on the PCB, which changes the way display screens are made.
